Geoff is a former South Pacific Professional Latin American and Cabaret Champion, and also three times second place in the Australasian New Vogue championship.

He was nominated for a Brolga Award in Australia, the highest accolade in dancing, for volunteering his services for two years teaching dancing to special needs children and adults. This culminated in his special needs group performing in front of 2000 people at a dance championship in front of the then World’s Professional Latin Champions.

Geoff has also volunteered for the past two years at the New Zealand Royal Blind Foundation and, before coming to New Zealand, taught the blind in Sydney.

Geoff has taught same gender dancing both on a social and competitive level for 12 years in Wellington and trained the winners of the Sydney Gay Games “D” grade women's Latin Championship and many silver and bronze winners then and since.

He has choreographed at Circa Theatre for The Candidates, a political satire on the 2005 election.

Dancing Bugz has been rolling along the last few years gaining more “BUGZ”. Everyone is learning to dance to get rid of some of their Dancing Bugz!

Dancing Bugz covers most of the Wellington region so contact us for a program that suits you and, if we cannot help you, which is highly unlikely, we will certainly pass you on to someone that can.

Just remember that name Dancing Bugz, and contact us now.
